After the windmills, it was clear sailing through the prairie landscapes. Angelo and I stopped at Earls in Medicine Hat, AB for a late dinner and shortly thereafter, hopped back in the Honda for our next leg of the journey. We made it to the outskirts of Moose Jaw and stopped for a car sleep at a truck pullout. It was somewhat restful, despite the rare semi rolling by and the early sunrise seeping into my line of vision.

Brandon came soon enough and we toured into town in search of some non-road-food at Superstore. Of all the things, I meet up with my one friend who lives in Brandon while perusing the aisles for yummy food. This meeting was a wonderful surprise despite our stinky, grubby road attire and made the last leg to Rosenort, MB (Angelo's childhood home) a little less tiring.

Early evening Saturday, June 19th, we got our sore butts out of the car and stretched our limbs to our hearts content.
