The CBC Radio 3 website this week has some wonderful features of photography.
I want to highlight the Road Trip collection by Galit Mastai. Considering that Angelo and I are heading out on the open road within the next week, this display of photos capture the feeling that we will re-experience. I don't think the subjects of the pics are mind-boggling, though the feeling of motion and the contemplative mindset that one falls into while moving, resonate with me.
This week's compilation also includes a wonderful Black and White collection called Forgotten Father by Michael Lambeth. The artistry and attention to detail is remarkable. These weighty photographs are reminiscent of Magnum, a personal favorite of photo groups.
