I just flipped over the Andy Warhol exhibit at the Vancouver Art Gallery. I readily admit that I am not one to say the 'right' thing about what one piece means next to another. But this collection was just fabulous. It was easy on the eyes, fun, tragic, potent, and exuberant. I was so happy I went. I really loved Blackglama, the famous Campell's soup cans, and the JFK collection. The earlier Shoes, Shoes, Shoes were also wonderful, but that is simply because I love shoes.
I fell asleep thinking about the Lifesavers and giggled to myself. I slept wonderful, silk-screens prancing about in my head, dreaming surreal dreams.

Hello Esther! I just wanted to say that I am jealous of your recent "flip" over the artwork of Andy Warhol. I think his work is great, and I've always wished to see his show. I should probably keep a better tab on what comes through the WAG. Thanks for sharing about your experience. Take care!

Heather,
Thanks for the comment! It was a fabulous experience and I would definitely recommend it, whether you see it come through the WAG, or if ever in Pittsburg!
